India-South Korea completed the seventh meeting of the Comprehensive Financial Partnership Agreement


The seventh round of the meeting of the comprehensive Financial Partnership Agreement between India and South Korea took place between December 11 and 13. The representatives of Indian Sugar Industry went to South Korea in this meeting. The delegation discussed various issues with high-level representatives of three sugar refining projects in South Korea. The meeting was organized by the Indian Embassy in Seoul.

South Korea imports 1.5 million tonnes of raw sugar every year. Sugar industry is trying to export sugar to India from 2018-19 this year and this meeting will be held in India. Korea has given assurances that Indian sugar could be imported if the status of Indian Sugar Standard is in line with the standards set by the government of South Korea. In this regard, there will be more meetings in the representatives of the two countries.
