Chandra Shekhar Rao took oath as chief minister

President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, who was honored with the victory in the Telangan Assembly elections. Chandrasekhar Rao took oath as the Chief Minister for the second time today. After the formation of the Telangana state, Rao has emerged as the Chief Minister for the second consecutive time. The Governor administered oath of confidence in the ceremony held at Raj Bhavan.

He has got 87 seats out of 119 Assembly seats in the state.

Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao defeated Congress candidate from Gajwal constituency by over 51,000 votes. Their son, Raja, is the state's information technology minister KT. Ram Rao and his nephew T. Harish Rao also won their respective constituencies.


110 rupees coin with Atal Bihari Vajpayee picture soon

The Government will soon issue a 100 rupees coin with the picture of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The weight of this coin is 35 gms. Vajpayee's name and picture will be on one side of the coin. The name will be in English and Hindi languages.

Similarly, Vajpayee's birthdate and year of death will also be underlined. The other side of the coin is Ashoka Pillar. Below it will be written Satyayam and Jayate.


Decision in the Supreme Court on the petitions filed against 'Raphael'

The Supreme Court will decide on the petitions demanding the investigation of the Raphael transaction.

Chief Judge Ranjan Gogoi, Sanjay Kishan Kaul and K. M. The hearing on the petitions filed by Joseph's Bench was completed on November 14. In this case, the petition was filed by lawyer Manohar Lal Sharma, accusing him of alleged irregularities.
